In this model, the EPCM company is contracted by the owner, as are other involved parties such as the design institute, the mandatory supervision company, the drawing auditors, the general contractor and other service providers. The contracts are signed between the Owner and the various service providers, but the owner lets the EPCM company represent himself towards these providers.
Advantages:
·Staff’s sense of ownership
·Site safety is monitored by the EPCM company
·Ideal for projects in which the requirements of the Owner are not fully defined yet and many changes are anticipated
·Better suited for projects >50.000 m2
